This video intends to shed light on the fast fashion epidemic and how our consumption of these items has disproportionately affected communities and ecosystems we may never come into contact with.

On the left, I captured the beauty of tradition, culture, community and the flourishing sustainability movement in India. I juxtaposed this with the right panel, a depiction of the wide array of issues – like pollution, mass consumerism, contamination of water and soil and wealth disparities – that make up this complex web of fast fashion. Together, the two simply illustrate how our everyday actions can cause a widespread ripple effect.
