2025 Or Bust: Patagonia’s Carbon Neutrality Goal

At Patagonia, approximately 95 percent of our carbon emissions come from our supply chain―the term that textile manufacturers use to describe everything from the crops grown to make yarn, to shipping finished clothes to warehouses, stores and our customers’ front steps. To reduce Patagonia’s impact on people and the planet, we are working toward becoming carbon neutral across our entire business, including our supply chain, by 2025.

Latinización en Chapel Hill y Carrboro

En este proyecto investigué el papel que juegan las empresas latinas en este proceso de latinización. Final Selection Weekend is a special time, and if I could impart any kind of wisdom on incoming finalists, I would say to enjoy yourself, to welcome UNC and the Morehead-Cain with open arms, and to be present. This weekend changed my life, and I hope that many of y’all will come away with nothing less than that.

Youthful Brashness

“Coming of Age,” as a genre, has been incredibly important for contextualizing my lived experiences. In this project, I take quotes from films, books, and songs that helped me make sense of the changes happening around me. The images are divided into five sections that represent the different parts of my own process: end of an era, new beginnings, awake, a work in progress, and youthful brashness.

The Songs of 2018

This year was interesting. I found myself seeking closure in the first half of 2018 and rebirth in the latter. Thankfully, I found both of them, and I would be remiss to say that this process was not largely facilitated by music. Though I had previously consumed this content passively, over the year, I learned to more actively participate in the moods, colors, and life songs create. And in doing so, I expanded upon my capacities as an artist, friend, and human.
